Remembrance Day
This photo was taken on Remembrance Day at Queen's Park a couple years ago. It was slightly drizzly. When the guns fired, flame would shoot out from the end and the guns jerked back from the recoil of the shot. The area would be white with smoke afterwards. It was really cool. If only "looking cool" was the real function of those things.

Kinda like how I find drawings of people smoking cool, but have to remind myself that in real life, that's not quite the point...unless you're in highschool...
I was poppy-less again for Remembrance Day...sigh. I so wanted to get a poppy, but never found a donation box. I don't even really know what charity the donation goes to (sad, eh?) but it just felt wrong to be without a poppy. It's a sign of respect more than anything, really.
Hey...so you have time to comment on comments on your own blog but leave nothing on mine? I cry foul!
Hey, you must keep in mind how long I let the comments sit before I commented back. But I went to your blog and commented anyway, because I'm so nice.
I also find drawings of people smoking cool, but never think actual people smoking looks cool. It may have something to do with how noxious I find cigarette smoke to be.
